To make this project I had rolled out a slab to start my creation. My intention was to make a small tea cup but it had turned out to be a big nice coffee cup that I love and use all the time. For the glaze I used mat black and oatmeal around the top and the handle. I will intend on using this cup for drinking out of. I made 12 total glazed pieces this 9 weeks. I love the color of the glaze that I put on the mug and the handle was very interesting because I used a stamp to put a pattern that looked like a snake which I liked. I also liked the top of the cup of how it was formed. If I had to I would change the mat black glaze to like a dark blue. It was a much bigger piece than what I intended it to be. Making a slab and using the stamp designs made me learn many skills while I created this project.
